I would like to be able to access custom metrics and events that are created in the facebook ads manager account

Hello Spencer, You should already have access to custom metrics. They are at the bottom of the metrics list. To see them you need to select only accounts that have custom metrics set up. If you select "all Accounts" and there is an account that doesn't have custom metrics, you won't see them on the list. Let me know if you find them now.
