# What is Data Studio Booster, and how does it speed up report loading?
## Speed up Data Studio report loading with your existing Dataslayer connectors and scheduled data refreshes.
**Data Studio Booster is a feature of Dataslayer’s connectors that helps your Data Studio reports load faster by using stored data and scheduled refreshes.**
It works with the same connectors, data sources, and reports you already use. Enable the switch on the [Data Studio Boosters page](https://app.dataslayer.ai/datastudio/boosters). There’s no need to change connectors, reconnect your data sources, or modify your reports.
Please note that Booster settings apply to your entire company.
### How does it make reports load faster?
When you enable Booster, your query data is stored on Dataslayer’s servers. On subsequent loads, your report retrieves this stored data instead of requesting the information from the original data source each time.
This helps speed up report loading, particularly when working with large volumes of data. The first time a new query runs, it may need to retrieve and store the data before subsequent loads can benefit from Booster.
### What changes about data freshness?
With Booster enabled, your data refreshes according to your configured schedule. Your report displays the data from the **most recent successfully completed refresh**. Opening or refreshing the report does not request new data from the original source for queries already stored.
With Booster disabled, Dataslayer’s connectors continue to provide their usual real-time functionality. Booster gives you an additional option when scheduled refreshes meet your reporting needs and you want to prioritize faster loading.
