How is billing handled for Dataslayer MCP usage?
Dataslayer MCP is included at no extra cost only with Advanced, Pro, or Business Dataslayer plans. There are no additional charges, usage fees, or per-call billing, just maintain an active eligible subscription.
The billing for Dataslayer MCP is straightforward: if you have an active Advanced, Pro, or Business Dataslayer subscription, MCP access is included as added value.
Please note: Dataslayer MCP is currently in beta, and the access structure, trial period, or daily limits may be subject to change as we continue to improve and refine this feature based on user feedback and usage patterns.
Free trial period
15 days free for everyone:
- No credit card required
- Full access to all MCP features
- 50 API calls per day
- Test with your actual marketing data
After the trial
With an eligible Dataslayer subscription (Advanced, Pro, or Business):
- MCP is automatically included at no extra cost
- Same 50 API calls per day
With non-eligible plans (e.g., lower-tier plans):
- MCP is not included
- Upgrade to Advanced, Pro, or Business to regain access
Without an active subscription:
- MCP access ends when the trial expires
What's included
- No separate MCP billing: Not a line item on your invoice
- No usage-based charges: Your 50 daily API calls are included regardless of usage
- No hidden fees: No setup, connection, or additional charges
AI provider costs are separate
While Dataslayer MCP is included, your AI provider has its own costs:

- Mistral AI Free: $0/month (only provider with free MCP support) - See Mistral AI pricing
These costs are paid directly to the AI providers, not to Dataslayer.
Maintaining Access
- During trial: Use freely for 15 days
- After trial: Subscribe to Advanced, Pro, or Business Dataslayer plan
- Ongoing: Keep your subscription active
- If subscription lapses: MCP access pauses immediately
