How to manage failed payments in Dataslayer
If your Dataslayer subscription auto-renewal fails, it’s usually due to issues like insufficient funds, an expired card, or a declined transaction. This guide explains exactly how to resolve the issue and restore your plan quickly.
Why your Dataslayer payment failed?
A failed payment can happen for several common reasons:
- Insufficient funds in your account
- Expired or outdated credit card
- Bank declining the transaction
- Incorrect billing details
Important
If your account has switched to the free plan, it is likely because your payment did not go through.
How to renew your Dataslayer subscription?
You can update your payment and renew your plan in two ways:
Option 1: Renew via the Dataslayer website
Follow these steps:
- Log in to the Dataslayer website using the email owner of your subscription.

- Click on your profile picture (top-right corner).

- Select the License section from the dropdown menu.

- Look for the payment warning message and click the View Invoices & payment methods button in the right corner.

- You'll be redirected to our payment platform. Enter your updated card details and complete the payment.

Once completed, your subscription will be automatically reactivated.
Option 2: Renew via Email

Check the inbox and spam folder of:
- The email used for the subscription, or
- Your billing contact email - Look for an email from Dataslayer containing a payment update link.

- Click the link and enter your new card details. Submit the payment to renew your subscription.

After payment, your plan will be restored immediately.

If you cannot find the payment email or the link does not work:
- Contact support at info@dataslayer.ai
- Or use the live chat on the Dataslayer website
