# How to revoke and accept permissions from Google Sheets Add-on in Dataslayer
## In this step-by-step guide, we explain how to revoke and reauthorize permissions for the Dataslayer Google Sheets add-on. It will help you to easily fix the add-on if it's blank or shows a maintenance error.
If your Dataslayer sidebar in Google Sheets is **not loading**, appears **blank**, or **shows the message** “*Sorry for the inconvenience, we are currently in maintenance, we will be back in a few minutes*” it’s likely due to a permission conflict or outdated access.

This guide will help you fix the issue by revoking and reauthorizing the Dataslayer add-on.
#### How to revoke Dataslayer permissions in Google Sheets
To remove Dataslayer’s access from your Google account:
1. **Open your Google Account settings**
- Go to [https://myaccount.google.com](https://myaccount.google.com).
- Or access through the Google Sheets menu and click **“Manage your Google Account.”**
2. **Access the Data & Privacy section**
- In the left sidebar, click **“Data & privacy.”**
3. **View third-party app access**
- Scroll to **“Third-party apps and services.”**
- Click on it to **see all connections.**
4. **Find and select Dataslayer**
- Locate **Dataslayer** in the list by searching for it in the search bar.
- Click it to see detailed access settings.
5. **Remove all Dataslayer connections**
- Click on **"Delete all connections that you have with Dataslayer".**
6. **Confirm the action**
- In the confirmation popup, click **“Confirm”** to revoke access.
#### How to reauthorize Dataslayer in Google Sheets
After revoking access, follow these steps to reconnect the add-on:
1. Open a new or existing Google Sheet.
2. Go to **Extensions** \> **Dataslayer** \> **Launch Sidebar.**
3. **Log in** when prompted, and be sure to **grant all the permissions** that are requested.
**Make sure to accept all permissions in this step:**
4. After you finish these steps, Dataslayer will be successfully reconnected to your account, allowing you to continue utilizing our extension!
