In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of creating a query in Snowflake destination. You'll be able to automatically import your marketing data into Snowflake in seconds.
If you log in here, you will go directly to our Snowflake product and you will see the Index section of your queries there.
Let's see how it works:
1. Let's create a new transfer by clicking on New transfer button.
1. Select the data source you want and log in to your Hub Account.

2. Select the data source's accounts you want to get data from.
3. Select the configuration of your query, such as:
- You will need to select a date range.
- The metrics and dimensions you want to add.
- Filters and options, if needed.

1. Select your Snowflake account email and click on Transfer Data.

2. Fill in all the transfer details:
- Transfer Name - This will be the name of the transfer in Dataslayer.

Timezone - Select your time zone.

Table - In the drop-down, you can select an already created table or create a new table.

Table Name - If you have selected the "Create new table" option on the previous field, set here the name of your new table.

Write Mode - Select the write mode you want

3. Select the Sync Frequency. You can choose between a schedule, manually or manually splitted.

4. Finally, save your transfer.
- Click on Save to only save your transfer in Dataslayer.
- Click on Save & Refresh Now to save the transfer and insert the data in Snowflake.
Don't forget to also click on Save & refresh if you chose the Manually frequency mode.
That's it! You have inserted your data into Snowflake!
Preview
If you want to see what the table you have created will look like, you can click on the Preview button to see it.
Note that this preview is limited to 200 rows.
This way, you can make modifications if you have detected any errors or if you want to change the order of the columns, before uploading the table into Snowflake.
The preview won't consume your monthly row limit.
