      My GA4 Performance Max campaigns are not showing up

      Are your Performance Max campaigns not appearing in your GA4 query? Don't worry, here we explain the most common cause and how to solve it.

      How do Performance Max campaigns work in queries?

      When you make a query in GA4, you can do it at several levels: at campaign level, Ad Group level, Ads level, etc.
      • At the moment, Performance Max campaigns do not have ad groups, so they work only at the campaign level.

      Then how can I visualize my Performance Max campaigns?

      For the query to display Performance Max campaigns, make sure you do not have dimensions selected at the Ad Group level or lower.

      • In case you want to display data at the Ad Group level or lower for other types of campaigns, make a separate query for Performance Max campaigns and another one for all other campaigns.
